It’s one of those things that gets overlooked in the hustle. I’m big on hustle. I think it’s what sets people apart. It’s what grew our agency over 100% every year for the past 6 years. It’s huge. I’m not sure patience is counter to hustle, but when you put the 2 together, you get magic. The idea that you’re hustling and making things happen, but you’re not in a rush that what you do make happen is not very good. It’s like my favorite band says, “urgency, but not haste.” I’m learning this concept and when I put patience into practice, I feel a relief from the pressure of hustle. It’s a good spot to be in.
